Very Useful. There is no question about how I would use this only how soon. I feel like I've been shown the tip of the iceberg and it's a pretty big tip! This could be so useful to me, members, friends, family, anyone with the Internet. Definitely the way of the future. Brilliant! More people need to learn about this NOW!

MashUps

Well according to the rules I now should make some sort of comment on Mash Ups. I did enjoy doing the mash up exercise. If I was unemployed and there was nothing else to do but sit and play on the Internet all afternoon I would probably enjoy Mash Ups. The mash ups that linked pictures and maps and data were extremely interesting but if searching for specfic answers or information it seems like it would be a bit of a hit and miss experience. Great if you are looking for the 'feel' of a place or just having some fun. I found the Voice thread exercise also very interesting. To have people taking about the images is a great idea. This is an extremely valuable way to document the past and present.

Podcasts

Some of the quality of the podcasts seem to vary a lot. I can't imagine that the amount of work spend on trying to use podcasts in our library would be justified in a library with only a couple thousand members. The best use of podcasts for us would probably be book reviews and instructions on how to use the library. I did enjoy this week as it was short and uncomplicated! I found the ABC podcasts really easy to access while others involved have to download updates and weren't as clear cut.

Answer Boards

Can't believe how many and how quickly people reply to the questions. Obviously there are people out there willing to answer other people's questions.

Library Thing

Library thing is the best thing I've uncovered since starting Learning 2.0. I could seriously develop an addiction to adding books to my library even though there probably isn't much point to it. Didn't like Delicious and I know that isn't how it's spelt. The worst thing about this weeks tasks... another username and password to remember!!!!!
